The American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES) was founded in 1977 with the mission of increasing Indigenous representation in STEM.
The Puget Sound AISES Professional Chapter was established in 2015 to bring that mission into sharper focus within the unique spirit and needs of the Pacific Northwest.
Membership includes Indigenous professionals from a wide range of fields including aeronautics, refining, civil engineering, education, construction, procurement, and more. Our robust network has built long-standing relationships with collegiate Indigenous students at both tribal and state colleges.
Our future goal is to develop financial partnerships that will allow us to expand our support to K-12 students in tribal schools.
